WatchDreams is a creative dream journal operated by FancyTrendyApps (Melih Toksarı). This policy explains how we handle information when you use the app, website, or support channels.
1. Information we handle
Information you provide
- Dream content: text, speech transcripts, titles, scene descriptions, styles, captions, favorites, and collections.
- Reference media: optional avatar photos, images, start images, and motion-reference videos you select.
- Voice input: microphone audio used for speech recognition. A transcript may be saved with the dream.
- Generated content: images, videos, thumbnails, and Dream Films created from your request.
- Support information: messages and any contact details, screenshots, or logs you choose to send.
Information generated automatically
- A random installation identifier used to associate requests and protect the service from misuse.
- Basic app, operating-system, request-status, and error information.
- Purchase, subscription, refund, and entitlement information. Apple or Google processes payment-card details; we do not receive your full card number.
WatchDreams does not use advertising SDKs and does not collect precise location, contacts, health records, or browsing history.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- capture, generate, save, play, organize, and export dreams;
- create an optional avatar or apply selected reference media;
- maintain generation allowances, purchases, and restorations;
- prevent misuse, diagnose failures, and provide support; and
- comply with law and enforce our Terms.
We do not use dream content for medical, psychological, or dream interpretation.
3. Local storage and AI processing
Your personal dream library is stored locally on your device by default. The local-first experience does not require a public profile or social account.
When you request generation, WatchDreams sends dream text and only the reference media you selected to our generation service and its AI processors, currently expected to include fal.ai and the model providers used for the selected route. A configured language-model provider may process prompt-enhancement requests.
The generation service forwards source content in memory. It stores operational request references, status and error fields, one-way digests, and limited service telemetry needed to operate and protect the service; it does not intentionally persist raw dream text or source media in its application database.
Speech recognition may be performed by Apple, Google, or another operating-system service under that provider’s terms.
4. Sharing
WatchDreams has no public dream feed. We disclose information only:
- to processors that provide the requested service;
- when you deliberately export or share a dream;
- when required by law or needed to protect rights and safety; or
- in a business transfer subject to this policy.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Share preview shows what will be prepared for export; source photos, full prompts, and private library metadata are not added automatically.
5. Retention
- Local dreams remain until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall. Exported copies must be deleted from their destination.
- Terminal generation-request metadata and allowlisted service telemetry are normally removed after 30 days.
- Anonymous installation records may be removed after 365 inactive days when no active generation or report remains.
- Support and transaction records may be retained as needed for support, accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, and law.
- AI providers may retain inputs, outputs, or logs under their verified production terms.
6. Your choices and rights
You can:
- use text instead of microphone access;
- skip avatar and reference media;
- revoke device permissions in system settings;
- delete dreams, your avatar, or local WatchDreams data;
- manage subscriptions in your App Store account; and
- request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability where applicable.
Send a privacy request to support@getwatchdreams.com. We may need to verify the request and may retain limited information where required for law, security, fraud, payments, or legal claims.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures, including encrypted network transport and restricted production credentials. No system is completely secure, and AI generation requires selected content to leave the device.
8. International processing
Processors may handle information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use recognized transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards.
9. Children
WatchDreams is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required where they live. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can investigate and delete it.
10. AI content
AI-generated video may be inaccurate, unexpected, or sensitive. WatchDreams is for creative journaling and entertainment, not medical, mental-health, sleep, therapeutic, or dream-interpretation services.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when the product, providers, or law changes. We will update the effective date and provide notice when required.
